In July 2016, The Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP) was developed with three main goals in mind:
The Environmental Monitoring program has been very successful in reaching these goals and has been steadily expanding since its creation. In the Winter of 2015 Enoch Cree Nation had a total of 4 BEAHR Certified Monitors. Following a Spring 2016 training session, the program currently has 14 BEAHR Certified monitors on the Nation. Aside from certified monitors, the program also utilizes 2 other monitors, who do not hold valid certification but have valuable experience with industry.
